The Sacrament of Eucharist – a Sacrament of Initiation – is the source and summit of the Catholic-Christian life. In the Eucharist, Christ is present in the Presider, the Gathered Community, the Word Proclaimed and the Bread and Wine Shared. By our sharing in this mystery, we are strengthened and sent out to be the Body of Christ in the world.
